#YouCamSuperModel Meet The Judges, Part 4: Zoe Smith

Our #YouCamSupermodel contest is almost over – have you submitted your best model-inspired makeup look yet? Remember to share your best Kendall or Cara with us before March 24, 2015 for a chance to win a free cosmetic kit! When we introduced #YouCamSuperModel campaign judge Diana Antonescu in a previous post, we talked a little bit about fashion theory and the detail behind any successful runway endeavor. Today we’d like to get even more conceptual as we introduce our final #YouCamSuperModel campaign judge, beauty therapist Zoe Smith.

A native to Reading and a lover of London, Zoe currently resides in a nearby town called Workingham. She spends her days working full time as a beauty therapist for aromatherapy brand Decleor.

Zoe turns to technology to get insights and ideas to strengthen her practice. A YouTube enthusiast she draws inspiration from makeup video tutorials and follows news apps to see coverage on the latest celeb events or to check out their red carpet style. Model and TV personality Tyra Banks is one of Zoe’s favorite celebrities to follow, she finds Tyra’s endless array of styles fascinating. She is also a fan of the “Tyra’” YouCam Makeup Look!
When it comes to designers, Zoe admires the clean-cut, tailored looks that Georgio Armani delivers to both men and women. Her motto is, “the more tailored the look the more flattering.” The bold, dramatic eyebrows that many models sported at London Fashion Week this year were Zoe’s favorite current trend, and when asking this tech friendly girl what futuristic fashion would look like in 2020, Zoe predicted that the focus will be on exaggerated lips and porcelain skin.

#YouCamSuperModel Meet The Judges, Part 3: Diana Antonescu

Which clothing line from the global Spring 2015 Fashion Week did you think was the best? We were blown away by the bold statements and bright colors in the Versace show during the events in Milan. Some of our favorite fashion campaigns focus on telling a profound story with the clothing, models and styles. It takes quite a bit of behind the scenes work to put together a winning campaign, and the strategy must extend off the runway to include a strong creative team of strategists, marketers and more. One lady who knows quite a bit about putting together a powerful strategy is our third #YouCamSuperModel Campaign Judge Diana Antonescu!

Diana is a marketing executive for Benefit Cosmetics in Romania, and she is responsible for many creative campaigns. She started off as a social media guru for the popular makeup brand and continues to draw on her past experiences while adventuring into new professional territories. As a native of Bucharest, Romania, Diana enjoys staying close to her roots.

When seeking fuel for her creative fire, Diana looks to the cosmetic industry at large, scans magazines, and follows many fashion and beauty blogs. Diana is always keeping an eye on designer Elie Saab’s ethereal clothing lines and is a big fan of supermodel Miranda Kerr.

When asked to predict the future of fashion, Diana replied that she hopes it will include a return to traditional prints and motifs. It comes as no surprise to us that this marketing maven also enjoys a natural and feminine makeup look.

#YouCamSuperModel Meet the Judges, Part 2: Kim Treacy

While clothes are an integral part of all Fashion Week events and runway shows, there are many other facets that make a successful performance. The models in the show, their hair, their makeup, and even their nails are all important parts of creating the right mood and sharing a designer’s vision through their couture creations. Huffington Post even went so far as to write an article about how nail art took over New York Fashion Week this year. We at YouCam Perfect and YouCam Makeup are all about the nails this week as we introduce our second #YouCamSuperModel Campaign judge, Kim Treacy!
Kim is an exceptionally skilled professional manicurist who has worked to create nail art masterpieces throughout the fashion industry, on editorial shoots, for ad campaigns, and even on red carpet events and press launches. It’s clear that Kim’s unique talents go far beyond the nail salon. She draws inspiration for her practice while surfing the web and flipping through magazines, and from time to time she looks to the designers she admires such as Roberto Cavalli and Giorgio Armani

Passionate about the models in her field, Kim’s favorites are Gisele Bündchen and Christy Turlington because of their trademark styles. Always keeping up with the trends, Kim is currently a fan of the fresh dewy skin look paired with a simple flick of eye liner.

YouCam Makeup’s latest Supermodel inspired cosmetic styles as seen above were released in conjunction with these international fashion events. Without further ado, we’re thrilled to introduce our first judge!
Meet Louise Maxwell, an internationally renowned hair and makeup artist with 30 years of industry expertise under her belt.
